15. Erica Griffin : Color management has nothing to do with HDR. It's about having an embedded profile like Adobe RGB or DCI-P3 into an app or app assets. This will allow some wider gamut content to show correctly when it shows instead of looking oversaturated. Android by default is sRGB so if not for color management to tell the image where the colors should be mapped, they will just get stretched and look oversaturated. The only issue that I worry about now is how the displays of individual phones are calibrated to begin with. If they aren't calibrated properly then I don't see how color management would really make a difference.ALSO, if a display is not capable of producing the wide gamut to begin with as the source content being shown on it I also don't see a darn point. Apple does it right where iOS is sRGB by default and the only other color space supported is their own Display P3, which is like DCI-P3 but with an average gamma of 2.2 and a white point of D65. So when a wide color image is shown it will display correctly on their correctly calibrated wide gamut screen. When a non wide color is show it will be sRGB and will automatically map the colors where they should be.

Raven Fox : On one hand IOS 11 is the worst piece of shit ever released by Apple, with the shittiest performance and retarded " features" like wifi and Bluetooth not turning off or lockscreen as notification drawer, and on the other hand Android Oreo is making android even better in every way. Probably gonna switch back to Android from my iPhone 7, and will maybe never ever go back to an iPhone then. Apple is dead and buried it has never been any clearer than now.
